Dog Brothers Open Gathering 2009 A primary objective of martial art instruction at THE TRAINING MAT is to pursue truth in combat. The process of discerning the practical from the impractical takes many forms and participating in THE GATHERING OF THE PACK is just one approach that has proved to be extremely beneficial. THE GATHERING OF THE PACK does not have winners and losers, it does not have trophies or judges and it costs nothing to participate. It is a pure form of interaction with other like minded individuals who also want to test themselves in a forum that helps to strip away pretense and separate martial fact from martial fiction. Unlike countless schools who hide behind their rank or reputations, interaction at this level is a true test and measure of a person’s fighting ability. |
